I had the plesure of meeting Carlos Montoya when I was 16 after listening to his performance at the University of Wyoming.  That was enough to inspire me to learn to play like the Gypsies that I had seen as a child in France.  I would not call my work Puro as I have never accompanied either dancer or cantor.  In my heart however I play this music as thought I grew up around a camp fire in a tribe of Gypsies.  I hope that those who listen to it will enjoy it as much as I do playing it.
